Beef Stew with Shiitake Mushrooms

This is the easiest beef stew recipe EVER!!! And when I saw it had Shiitake mushrooms in it, I was sold. I've made it a bunch of times and it's always a huge hit.
What You'll Need:
Okay, so, I accidentally deleted my "what you'll need" picture, but there it is...beef stew meat, potatoes, onion, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, can of diced tomatoes, can of beef broth, flour, salt, pepper, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. (scroll down for exact recipe)

Throw the carrots into the crock pot.
Diced the potatoes into bit size pieces.
Throw them in the crock pot.
Discard the mushroom stems and wash them in some cold water...yes, I said wash them! I don't care if Wolfgang Puck himself was in my kitchen. I just think it's weird not wash them. Of course, do this as fast as possible and press them in between two paper towels to get all the water out.
Slice the mushrooms...
and add them to the pot.
Slice the onion...
and add them to the pot.
Add the salt, pepper, sugar and Worcestershire sauce,
then the flour,
 can of diced tomatoes,
and a can of beef broth.
Stir until everything is well mixed.
 Add the meat,
and stir to combine.
Cover and let simmer on low for 8 to 9 hours.
It's done!!!
We had ours with homemade bread...via my bread maker!!!
