What you'll need:
1/4 cup corn kernels
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Pour the kernels in a pot large enough that the kernels are not on top of each other. Also, and DO NOT forget this part, you will need a lid, otherwise you will have popcorn all over your kitchen. Turn the heat on high and make sure the shake the pot every 30 seconds.
While the kernels are warming, mix the sugar, salt and cinnamon.
Melt the butter.
Once you've heard the last kernel pop, pour the popcorn into a large bowl.
Pour the melted butter over the, still hot, popcorn and stir in coat.
Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat. You can use as much or as little of the sugar mixture that you want. I used about three quarters of it.
